"Comparing car insurance quotes is important, but not exactly the most fun nor the easiest to do. When I did an internet search for car insurance quotes, I heard back through automated text from a few other companies. Their coverage wasn't the best, but the price was low. I thought to myself, if I am going to do this, I have to get it right, the first time!... not wait until something happens and realize how screwed I am. Almost immediately after typing in my search, my phone rang.... when I answered it I heard a friendly voice saying, "Hi! This is Ted, from State Farm." Me being, me- I couldn't resist.. So I replied, "TED??! Where's Jake?!" I didn't think he would get it, but like I said, I couldn't resist!!! Without missing a beat, Ted said, "He's at home... He forgot his khaki's!" You have no clue how happy that response made me!!! When I am looking to work with a company, I need to know there is a person behind it. One that understands my and gets my humor. Whom I feel like I will be able to work well with IN CASE something were ever to happen. (God forbid!) With agent, Ted's response, I was cracking up. I was not only worried about getting the best deal, but I was worried about getting taken advantage of as well. Ted went through everything step-by-step, explained my options and what was involved with it all, at my own pace. No matter how stupid the question.. he answered any AND ALL questions (including "where is Jake?!") in a way that I comprehended. He really put my mind at ease!! He emailed over some documents I had to sign, etc. once I decided for SURE I was going with State Farm. To be quite frank, the interactions with Ted were so good, I didn't have to put much thought into looking at other companies for insurance. When I got the emails, the signature on them said, "Rich Rybka". I immediately texted Ted asking him who Rich was, and that I thought he might be a little lost without Jake in the office. He immediately responded with, "That is my dad.... he wears chinos." That did it for me... I was sold. I was laughing so hard. In fact, I told Ted a story (a LOOOONG text), about my Dad... who I lost last year. That had nothing to do with the story... I mentioned it in passing. It was a funny story... not sad at all! Still, my phone began to ring. It was Ted, personally calling to express his sympathy for my loss. If that isn't going the extra mile, I don't know what is! Like a good neighbor, Ted was there! I got my car insurance from them, and will be looking into getting renters insurance from them as soon as I need it, as well. I am thoroughly happy with the experience Ted provided for me in acquiring insurance from State Farm. I would not hesitate for a SECOND in recommending Ted AND State Farm (this office particularly- I can not speak to other State Farm offices)to ANYONE with insurance needs or questions!!! What ever they are doing, they need to keep it up, because it was a pleasurable experience that I have ZERO regrets about! Ted is ALWAYS working!!!😉"
